1. There are so many reviews for this CD that I can add little more, this is IMHO a must have CD, it has an excellent selection of all the well known tracks and much more. The 's was a truly great time for music and especially bands from England, we were spoilt for choice, The Who, Beatles, Stones, Kinks to name just 4, all still surviving and /5().

6. The recording itself is quite clear, and the volume from song to song seems quite even. Some older music which is now being distributed on CD's are poorly recorded, and the volume varies a lot from one song to the next, forcing you to keep adjusting the volume. If you have ever liked one or two of their songs, this is definitely worth the price.

8. this collection is superbly put together, the chosen tracks reinforce the idea that the Who is one of the great bands ever assembled! but the mastering is super-loud and compressed! unlistenable, period! how this cd passed quality control is a mystery, but stay away unless you 4/5(9).
